Mark Your Calendars for Jazz in the Garden DC

Summer is just about here, and with it comes some of the best events of the year in the DC area. One of those favorite events is Jazz in the Garden DC, a free concert series featuring live music spanning Traditional New Orleans jazz, blues, swing, ska, funk,, Pan-Caribbean salsa, boogaloo and many other genres. The concerts take place in the Sculpture Garden at the National Gallery of Art every Friday evening from May 18 to August 24.

July 13 – The Funky Dawgz Brass Band – Funk and hip-hop

July 20 – Dave Chappell – Blues guitar

July 27 – Incendio – Instrumental world guitar

August 3 – Son Del Caribe – Pan-Caribbean salsa

August 10 – Andrea Brachfeld – Jazz flutest

August 17 – 3Divas – Swing piano trio

August 24 – Speakers of the House – Funk and boogaloo
